Policies and fees for copying materials have been established to assure the preservation of the historical records, allow reasonable copying by researchers, and provide as much service as is possible given a small staff with very limited resources. Please make your check payable to Northern Illinois University and send it to: Government Publications/IRAD, Room 245B, Founders Memorial Library, Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL 60115. Requests requiring fewer than six (6) copies are fulfilled at no charge. The charge for photocopies at the Northern Illinois University depository is thirty (30) cents per page for requests requiring six (6) or more copies. Research services are provided at no charge through the courtesy of the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office. Send inquiries regarding the counties in NIU’s jurisdiction to: Limit requests to two names at a time and wait for a response before submitting another request.
